What is the best place to travel for tourism. This would be for a 15 year old boy and his mother. A beach and a large city (500,000 people+. not so small but doesnt have to be a gigantic city.) Venezuela is out for the political reasons, but what city would you recommend?

If you think a beautiful beach is your destination, i highly recommend, Bay Islands, Honduras. Not only it has the second richest coral reefs, but its beaches leave you fantasizing over and over after you leave. The most popular Island is Roatan, which is visited by a lot of Europeans and Americans everyday (specially the month of August). Very quiet resorts all around, you can dive, visit museums, walk on the beach. The hotels offer tons of activities so you besides getting your tan, you can actually enjoy with your family. Look up some of the pics around the internet, that crystal clear water, it is real, take it from this expert who’s been there three times.

I would say COSTA RICA! There is everything for every type of person - you can ride horseback on the beaches at sunset, or go ziplining through the rainforest. Plus there are amazing beaches. It’s not exactly central america, but its close! Hope this helps!

I went to Peru this summer. It was EPIC. So many things to see and do there, especially if you like the outdoors. Cuzco is one of the most interesting cities I’ve ever been to. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with Brazilian beaches

Costa Rica. It has alot of tourisst attractions. One of them is partnered with disney and it has alot of activities that include visiting the forest, learning about birds, and even doing some hiking. Cool stuff.

I just got back from Costa Rica and it was very nice. Spent time at the beach and time in the rain forest. I’ve been to Peru as well, which was very nice. Hiked the Andes and went to Machu Pichu.
