I’ve been to Playa Carrillo and loved it, saw Playa Samara and was not that impressed. I’m interested in making a return trip but to the right spot in Guanacaste…
Oh yea, the objective is clean beach without any major resorts or urbanization.
Nixon cut and ran from Vietnam
Ford gave Iran our Embasy
Raygun gave Central America to the Commies
Bush 42 surrendered before the job was done.
Bush 43 is just dicking around and not kicking **** like he should be.
Round the world surf trip - Flights?
Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone out there knew of any companies that offer a round the world flight based on surfing ( or a rtw flight that includes a lot of good quality surf destinations). Seen a lot of round the world offers but the majority seem to leave out Indo, Central America and the Pacific Islands and customizing makes it very expensive.
Any input or personal experiences greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance,
Ian
we are trying to start a business in guanacaste and want to know what would be good to sell or import there. coffee, etc.
“Migrant workers sent back more than $62.3bn to their families in Latin America and the Caribbean last year, a rise of 14 per cent on 2005.
The figures, to be released this weekend at the annual conference of the Inter-American Development Bank, confirm that remittances have become one of the region’s most important sources of foreign exchange. For the fourth successive year they will exceed the combined flows of foreign direct investment and overseas aid into the region.
Mexico (with a total of $23bn), Brazil ($7bn) and Colombia ($4bn) receive most remittances, but the flows are especially beneficial for the poorer and more marginal countries of Central America and the Caribbean, where they account for more than 10 per cent of GDP in many cases. ”
Due to immigration crackdowns the artical says more is being brought by hand towards the end of the year. Apparently this counters efforts to funnel the money to investments. It speaks of urging banks to give loans, etc.
… The third time is the charm
“The bold effort the present bank has made to control the government, the distress it had wantonly produced…are but premonitions of the fate that awaits the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it.”
- Andrew Jackson
Is gay marriage a right in countries in Europe, for instance? Canada? I’m thinking not in Mexico because of the strong Roman Catholic influence. Ditto for Central and South America. Is this a strictly American controversy?
I’m going to 7th grade next year but we have to choose what we take next year right now. I currently take spanish as latin wasn’t availbile before. But i think i might want to switch to latin as it helps in SAT and other terms. And the chances of me working in south or central america are slim. So which do you think i should take?
